Date 04/10/07 - I'M BACK !!
Sorry for the lack of updates recently. I've been busy sorting out various things and eventually moving the website on to another server. It's all sorted now and I now find myself up in Tiree in Scotland at the 3rd round of the UK wavesailing champs as well as the PWA world tour finals. We had a good day of wind yesterday, nothing today and good wind tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get a chance to do daily updates from here. .............................
Date 01/08/07 - Tenerife went off!
I'm back from Tenerife. Windy every day so we got loads of shots done. Keep an eye on the mags for upcoming exposure. Was really cool to hang out with OTC and Airborn gang out there. Thanks to Jon Harvey for taking the pictures and Tris Best and Ben Wood for providing me with accomodation. I'm back now for a few weeks, so just enough time to get in a bit of Stand Up Paddle Surfing..
Date 21/07/07 - I'm in Tenerife and it's WINDY...

While the wind has been a bit light I've been up in London putting my commentary voice to a windsurfing program being made by Sail Tv for Sky Sports.

Sorry for the lack of updates recently, but I have been finding myself in locations with no internet connection. This has been mainly at the beach! I've had some good windsurf sessions and some really good Stand Up Paddle sessions. SUP is such good fun and an awesome cross training sport. Check out some more pictures HERE
Date 16/06/07 Motivational speaking in Falmouth!
Last Wednesday saw me presenting a talk about my life and travels to graduating students from Falmouth Marine college. Over 100 people were in attendance and from all reports the talk went down well with students and staff alike.

Date 04/05/07 - Time it is a flying!!
Apologies for the lack of updates but I couldn't get onto my server when I was in Ireland and since then I have been camped out on surf beaches doing some photoshoots for Fat Face. So in a few short lines here is my news:
- I placed 2nd at the first round of UKWA Four Nations Wave Sailing Championships over in Ireland. The conditions were great and I am really happy with my result despite the fact that I managed to beat John earlier in the contest but couldn't quite get him in the final.
- I'm fully in to Stand Up Paddle Surfing these days. It's great for fitness when the wind is light and great for surfing when the swell arrives without the wind. www.standuppaddlesurf.co.uk will soon have all the details I think. I've just finished doing my first SUP photo shoot with Fat Face, we lucked out and got some beautiful conditions - glassey waves, long period swell and perfect sunsets. Watch this space for more SUP news soon.
- Now I'm off to Guernsey for a race between Guernsey and Jersey. The wind forecast looks like we might be confined to wavesailing due to too rough a conditions for the rescue boats. Either way it should be great fun. Check out www.libjam.com
- I will try and update more next week, for now I am running around like a mad thing trying to get things done.

Date 20/04/07 Fingers and toes crossed for wind in Ireland
I'm just about to leave for the first round of the 2007 UKWA Wave Championships. The forecast is a bit dubious but there is hope for some wind on Monday followed by with a long period swell and light SW windson Wednesday, which could come to something once the local funneling effects of Brandon Mountain is taken in to consideration. Basically it's not a gang busting forecast but there is hope of something. I'll try and update here once I make it to the west coast of Ireland.......

Date 01/03/07 - Winter winds...
The winter winds just keep on blowing. The last week has been good with a whole mix of conditions, from nuclear 3.7m weather through to light wind wave riding. A bit of a break now for a day or two and then the wind looks like it will return. It might not be Cape Town, but it sure is windy!!
